The Macklin Intergenerational Institute oversees the day to day operations of Marilyn’s Lifelong Educational Center, which provides intergenerational programm

ing and compassionate care for young children. Housed within Birchaven Retirement Village, Marilyn’s Lifelong Educational Center children learn through hands on explorations, daily interactions and guidance in a family environment. Planned hands on explorations are implemented by specially trained teachers and are designed to help children learn life skills and gain an academic advantage. Interactions are either planned or qualify as friendly visits with elder friends throughout Birchaven Retirement Village.
