Come visit our District Support Organizations to see all the incredible things they do to support our students, and help US support THEIR efforts. 💙💛

Pick up some blue and gold spirit wear and swag that you’ll definitely need for the rest of the year, and then head into the stadium for Senior Night and kickoff of our first home football game! 🏈💙🎉

We are proud to announce the 2026 Crates-Miller Administrator of the Year, Mrs. Jackie Nelson!

Mrs. Nelson fully believes in the potential of every child. She is a strong advocate for teachers, public schools and students, and has fostered an environment where every student, parent, and staff member feels not just "welcome," but deeply respected.

Those who submitted nominations on her behalf share that she “brings energy, urgency, and a ‘let’s make this better’ mindset into every space she enters. She is constantly looking for ways to improve instruction, strengthen systems, and ensure students are receiving the support they need to succeed.”

She has a profound understanding of the "ripple effect”… she knows that to take care of the children, she must also take exceptional care of the adults who teach them. She handles tough situations with grace. She ends everyday with a smile on her face, and she could even be described as a “Jackie” of all trades.

Mrs. Elbin brings clarity to everything, and is fully dedicated to the work she does. Her leadership, commitment, and willingness to step in at all times never goes unnoticed. She is always there to help, support others, and save the day when challenges arise.

Her nominators describe her as “the very definition of tireless…the indispensable 'Mrs. Everything' for the Teaching and Learning team. She is constantly sharing her brilliant creativity to save her colleagues time and energy.”

Mrs. Elbin pairs the exacting standards of a taskmaster with a heart that cares fiercely for every single student.

We are proud to announce the 2026 FHS/Millstream Teacher of the Year, Todd Richards!

Mr. Richards constantly goes above and beyond for all students. He forms relationships with students that make them feel important and valued, even if they aren’t in his class.

According to the nominations submitted on his behalf, he often chooses to make an impact on students during time that could be his own. He gives up his lunch to have dance parties with the students in the SLC classrooms, and goes out of his way to invite students with special needs to the gym to play basketball during his planning period.

He is constantly showing students what it means to feel like they belong.
