🚸 PTOs (and district support organizations in general) are often kept afloat by a small number of folks. This holds true for Findlay North PTO. As our current officers stepped down at our last meeting, no nominations were accepted and the positions are vacant until the next school year.
😱 Gasp! Is this the end of our PTO? Nope! Save the Date for Monday, August 3rd and keep an eye out for more information from Northview Primary School and Bigelow Hill Intermediate School principals for an Organizational Meeting with Andrea Barger who helps coordinate DSOs in Findlay City Schools.
🖊️ We're still supporting our schools during this limbo-like time over the summer on an as needed basis. Email and Messenger will still be monitored and checks will be written.
🥰 And for our next set of fresh officers and volunteers, we look forward to having your backs and passing the torch (and Google drive, email, officers' folders, budget breakdowns, events coordination notebooks, bylaws, graphics, and allll the things) while we support from the sidelines as parent volunteers.
🥹 As your now former PTO President, I just want to tell you how appreciative I am for the time and effort you all put in to make our PTO thrive throughout these years. I look forward to having a volunteer role in our PTO for the next two years just as Frank's Mom.
