We introduced The Clay Bead Store to the preschoolers today for this new group to children.

We are all so excited and these students are already professional clay bead makers. The students opened their own wrapped clay, mixed two colors, and then used their strong muscles and hands to manipulate the clay. When the clay was ready, they pulled off a “bead sized piece” and rolled it into a ball. We will then cook this clay and begin stringing our beads next week.

We made $113 at our store opening! Thank you all for your donations, kindness, and supporting our classroom and bead making. We will buy more many supplies to keep the fun going.

Today, we shared some of our necklaces with the Findlay Learning Center. They seemed to love them.

We received many thank you notes back from these students, and I can’t wait to read them all to our students tomorrow. 💙💛💙💛

Thank you to Harrison 🐶 and the amazing Ms. Allison, our student teacher, for meeting our families at The Washington Clay Bead Store table today.

Today’s the day! 12:30-2:00 at Washington Preschool, you can come pick up the necklace/beads you chose.

Reminder: just $1 and we can’t make change

Ms. Allison, our student teacher, will be manning the table while I’m at conferences all day.

We are very excited to share our beads with you. If your child is in my class, you can pay for your beads at drop off and then I can get your beads for you when you pick up your child.

You can also come pay and pick up your beads on 2/12 from 12:30-2:00 at Washington.

Each necklace/lanyard is $1 or what you’d like to pay. We are unable to make change.
