We had a fantastic 2026 Career Fair and are so grateful to everyone who made it such a meaningful experience for our students!

A very special thank you to our counselor, Jackie, for organizing this event and creating valuable opportunities for our students to explore future career paths. Your hard work and dedication truly made this day a success!

What a wonderful Open House and Model School Celebration!
We were so excited to welcome families to campus and share the amazing work happening. A special highlight was recognizing our students who have successfully completed their graduation requirements, such a proud moment for all!
We also enjoyed a beautiful performance from a former student who came back to sing reminding us of the lasting connections we build here at Sierra.
Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the evening so meaningful. We are proud of our students and grateful for our community!

Fillmore Unified School District will offer free meals for all children ages 0–18 at Mountain Vista and Piru Elementary Schools from March 30 through April 2, 2026, Monday through Thursday, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Children must be present to receive a meal.

Fillmore Unified’s Sierra High School Named a Model Continuation High School

Fillmore Unified’s Sierra High School was recently named a 2026 Model Continuation High School by the California Department of Education. The school will retain the honor for three years and serve as an example for other programs statewide. The final week of the quarter was filled with energy and excitement at Sierra High! Students wrapped up final projects, enjoyed class field trips, and were treated to special activities, all leading up to a wonderful awards ceremony celebrating their hard work and achievements.

On behalf of the Sierra High staff, we wish our students and families a joyful and restful holiday season. We look forward to welcoming everyone back for an amazing third quarter. Classes resume Wednesday, January 7.
