Good morning!

We are so excited to welcome Mrs. Staci Monroe to the middle school. Here is a little bit about Staci:

Hi! My name is Staci Monroe.
I’m so excited to begin this new chapter at Fillmore Middle School! My husband and I both grew up attending the same local schools, and now our four children have had the opportunity to attend those same schools as well, making this community very special to our family. For the past several years, I have also had the privilege of caring for my uncle with special needs after my grandmother passed away. That experience has taught me so much about patience, compassion, understanding, and the importance of making sure everyone feels loved and supported. I have a big heart for helping others and always try to do what is right. I’m grateful for the opportunity to work with the students and staff at Fillmore Middle School and look forward to being a part of their school family!

As you get ready to purchase school clothes for the new school year, please keep in mind the dress code that has been implemented for our school.

We have emailed the dress code to all students, staff, teachers, and parents. Please go over it with your student.

If you have questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us and we will do our best to answer them.

If you did not receive the email, let us know and we will resend it.

We would like to welcome Darci Winget to the FMS family as the new full time custodian.

Darci has been with the school district serving Millard High School for over 10 years. She comes with a solid background in how a school should be taken care of and kept clean and safe for your students.
Darci has been part of the community for her whole life and has enjoyed helping out wherever she is needed. Please join us in welcoming Darci to FMS.

We are thrilled to announce our new head custodian at FMS - Daniel Freeman. A little bit about Daniel:

Hello Fillmore Middle School. Go Eagles!!

My name is Daniel Freeman. I grew up in Meadow and graduated from Millard High School. I went to Brigham Young University and got my bachelors in Exercise Science. I met my beautiful wife, Jessica, while attending BYU. After graduation I had the opportunity to try a few different careers.

Jessica, being hired on as a math teacher for Fillmore Middle School, brought me back to Fillmore. Where I now live with my wife and my three wonderful kids.

I got a job as a night time custodian in 2019, working at Millard High School. I then transferred over to the Middle school, where I have worked for the past 3 years. I have loved working with the amazing staff and students of FMS, and look forward to many more years as the Head Custodian.

We would like to shout out to our amazing librarian Liza Staples for making these opportunities possible for our students.

Throughout the 2025-2026 school year, Fillmore Middle School has used the Beanstack app to encourage reading among students and staff. In the library, the Beanstack app was incorporated into monthly reading challenges. From August to May, FMS logged 381,455 minutes of reading!

Usage of this app was provided to our school by the Ken Garff for Good program and my529. Along with the app, these sponsors also encouraged participation with great prizes!

Kaydence Bennett was selected to win a bike of her choice and Robert Christensen won the April Read-a-thon grand prize of a $1,000 college scholarship from my529. Both of these students and their families are invited to attend the Road to Success end-of-year celebration at Loveland Living Planet Aquarium. FMS would like to thank Ken Garff for Good and their partners at my529 for this great opportunity!
