Printed or digital permit

Hand saw (no chainsaws in most areas)

Rope or straps to secure the tree

Warm clothing, gloves, boots

🧠 Helpful Tips

Check weather & road conditions before traveling

Follow all forest cutting guidelines

Choose a tree at least 200 ft from roads, campgrounds, and trailheads

Cut only in designated areas

Pack out all trash

Families with a 4th grader may qualify for a FREE tree permit through the Every Kid Outdoors program (available on Recreation.gov).

Christmas tree permits are a unique opportunity for citizens to help thin densely populated stands of small-diameter trees – the perfect size for a Christmas tree.

Around The Clock Child Care is looking for passionate and dependable individuals to join our growing team!

💰 Pay: $17–$19/hour DOE
🩺 Benefits: Medical, Dental & Vision
⏰ Hours: 20–40 hours per week, with schedules posted every 2 weeks
📍 Locations: Primary placement at one center, but must be willing to travel to Lakewood & Fife locations if coverage is needed
🕒 Schedule: Open availability between 6:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Monday–Friday

Requirements:
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Current TB test
• Completion of all DCYF required certifications/trainings (or willingness to obtain)

We are hiring immediately and will begin interviews starting September 2nd!

• 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
