NEED VOLUNTEER HOURS (Students AND Parents)??
ENJOY MUSIC FESTIVALS??
We’re happy to announce that we have partnered with Austin Basler ('14) and the Pickin' Strings at Pickle Springs Music Festival to help support the St. Pius X Music Department.
Pickin’ Strings at Pickle Springs is a private, non-profit music festival hosted by alumni Austin Basler (‘14) and his family at their property in Ste. Genevieve County every first Saturday in August. The two-day event, this year on Friday, July 31st - Saturday, August 1st, aims to bring together friends, family, and community to support live, original music while benefitting future generations of musicians via the St. Pius X music department. This year’s event, the third annual, features artists from 8 different states (MO, IL, KY, TN, OH, PA, NC, RI), spanning from local rising stars to internationally touring acts.
The event is majorly funded by sponsorships and donors and they are still accepting any interest in the above - please see the forms below for details and contact information. (Not-For-Profit Receipts available upon request.)
Anyone interested in attending can reach out to any of the contacts listed on the What To Know sheet and tickets are available via the ticket link included here: https://tinyurl.com/565u6tbx
Tickets, sponsorships, and donations include cost of admission and optional camping on-site - tents, campers, RVs, etc. (Utilities not provided). The event is BYOB and lawn chair. Food trucks will be available on-site Saturday but dietary restrictions will not be accommodated so please plan accordingly.
Most importantly, the event coordinators are still looking for as many as a half-dozen St. Pius X students to volunteer for the event on Saturday alone, from roughly 11 AM until 9 PM. Volunteers will assist with ticketing, parking, artist load-in and load-out, and more. Volunteers will be provided food vouchers, a pair of tickets for parents or other guests as well as free admission for Friday, and service hours. If interested, please reach out to Austin Basler at (314) 287-0554 as soon as possible.
We thank everyone for their support and look forward to seeing you there!
