Wells County Soil Conservation District The Center will also serve as a regional Envirothon Training Center. The Envirothon is our Nation's premier high school environmental education program.

Our vision is to teach core science, language, math and arts principles through outdoor education, and to enhance community health and safety through increased awareness of our environment. Envirothon training stimulates young minds and teaches team building skills. In addition to school use, area youth and community groups will have an active role in the design and upkeep of the Center.

A Harmful Agal Bloom WARNING has been issued at the Harvey Dam Reservoir. The algae can produce cyanotoxins which may cause serious health effects in people and animals.
