After a VERY busy night of exploring FCS, the stuffies have made their official report… Kindergarten is going to be SO much fun!!

They checked out the halls, tested the playground, visited the nurse, found the books, made some music, explored the gym… and made sure everything was just right for their favorite kindergartners.

Their biggest discovery? FCS is full of safe places, kind people, fun things to do, and lots of new adventures waiting for you.

So with tired paws, floppy ears, and plenty of stories to tell, they’re hopping aboard the Stuffy School Bus and heading back to Kindergarten.

They did the exploring first… now it’s your turn.
Kindergarteners, you are going to have a BLAST here!!!

Feeling a little sleepy after all that adventuring, the stuffies decided the music room was the perfect place for a wake up jam session! 🎶🥁

There was drumming, shaking, tapping, and let’s just say… a few of them were very confident in their musical talents. We’re not saying they’re starting a band, but they definitely made enough noise to try.

Stuffy tip for our kindergartners: In music, have fun, take turns, and use listening ears making music is even better when everyone gets a chance to join in!

Next stop… the gym! 🏀⚽️The stuffies wasted no time finding the balls, cones and scooters and putting their athletic skil...

The stuffies wasted no time finding the balls, cones and scooters and putting their athletic skills to the test. Some were definitely a little more coordinated than others!!

Stuffy tip for our kindergartners: In gym, try your best, take turns, listen to directions and cheer on your friends, being a good teammate is just as important as scoring!

Uh oh… looks like Mr. Bunny got a little too adventurous on the playground!

After climbing where he probably shouldn’t have, it was off to the nurse’s office for an ice pack, a Band-Aid, and a little TLC. His stuffy friends made sure he wasn’t alone and helped take very good care of him.

Stuffy tip for our kindergartners: Playground fun is the best when we climb and play where we’re supposed to those rules help keep everyone safe 💙

A slide tip for our Kindergarten friends: Go feet first, bottoms down, and make sure the friend before you is all the way off before it’s your turn.

These stuffies are getting very good at being ready for FCS!

The stuffies did a lot of exploring, checked out how books get scanned, dug through the bins, and even read a few stories together. Their tip for their kindergartners: there are SO many good books waiting for you here, don’t be afraid to look around and find one you love!

The Ferrisburgh Central School PTO has a little surprise planned for our incoming kindergarteners a Stuffy Sleepover at FCS!

While our kindergartners are home sleeping, their friends will be busy “exploring” FCS checking out classrooms, reading books, playing a few games, and getting to know their new school. (We hear stuffies are much braver about exploring a new school when no grown-ups are watching. 😉)

We’re hoping this is a fun, silly way to help our newest FCS students feel a little more familiar and excited about their new school before the big first day.
