Our students know that a great day starts with a great breakfast, and our amazing Nutrition Team is making mornings even more fun! Students get to check for a Golden Ticket at breakfast, and our lucky Golden Ticket winners get to choose a special prize! 🎉🏆

Great breakfast + a little surprise + happy Yellow Jackets = the perfect way to start the day! 💛

🏈🐝💛 FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS — THE LONGINO WAY! 💛🐝🏈

From Friday morning to Friday night, Lee Longino showed up and represented!

We started the day with a little football fun in the car line 🏈 while our cheerleaders brought the spirit with ribbons, smiles, and a big Yellow Jacket welcome! 📣

Friday night, Longino Yellow Jackets of all ages and sizes were everywhere—from administrators helping keep everyone safe and staff members coaching on the sidelines, to teachers, students, families, and even our littlest future Yellow Jackets cheering from the stands! 💛🖤

One of our proudest moments came after the game when some of our students stayed to help clean the stands. 🌟 With EMPATHY as our Capturing Kids' Hearts focus this month, they showed exactly what it means to notice a need and step up to help. That's the Longino Way!

And to our Longino Yellow Jackets taking the football field today for P*e Wee Football—GOOD LUCK, have fun, and BE SAFE! 🏈🐝

We love seeing our Longino family show up for Ferris! Congrats to the Ferris Varsity Football Team on your first win of the season.

This team will be helping us keep CKH alive on campus by celebrating relationships, encouraging connection, sharing fun ideas, and recognizing staff members who are truly capturing kids’ hearts.

Each week, they’ll also be on the lookout for someone special to recognize as our CKH Teacher of the Week! 🌟

Meet our Sunshine Committee! ☀️💛

This amazing group is here to help bring a little extra joy, encouragement, and fun to Longino! From staff celebrations and morale boosters to outings, potlucks, and supporting one another during the hard days, their goal is simple: make sure our people feel loved and appreciated.

We already have some fun things in the works, and we can’t wait to see all of their ideas come to life this year!

Students in Ms. Hernandez’s science class investigated electrical conductors by testing different materials to see which ones would allow electricity to flow. They made predictions, tested their ideas, recorded observations, and learned that not all materials behave the same way.
