Hi,

Wanted to send over the casting breakdown for a short film we’re casting ASAP.

We’re filming Friday, October 2 and Saturday, October 3 in the Metro Detroit area, and I’d love to see if anyone from your studio comes to mind.

This is a self-funded passion project, so the talent rates are on the lower side, but we’re putting a lot into the film creatively and visually. I think it has the potential to be a really beautiful piece and a strong addition to the actors’ reels.

WOMAN — Mid 30s to early 40s, Caucasian
Strong acting ability required. Looking for someone who can bring a natural, grounded emotional presence to the role.

TEENAGE BOY — 16–24, Caucasian
Natural, authentic presence. Comfortable riding a bicycle is strongly preferred.

TEENAGE GIRL — 16–24, Caucasian
Natural, authentic presence. Comfortable riding a bicycle is strongly preferred.

For the teenage roles, if you happen to know a real couple who could be a fit, that would be a huge plus, but definitely not required.

Happy to share more about the creative and specifics with anyone who may be a fit. Since we’re moving pretty quickly, I’d love to see anyone you have in mind!
