Eclipse Percussion

Eclipse Percussion "FIP" is a competitive percussion program in our 3rd year of competition in the MCGC circuit, and ou Eclipse Percussion is under the direction of Daniel Chunn.

We are a competitive winter percussion program from the Metro-Detroit area that aims to educate students from ages 13-22 in the percussive arts. Formally known as Ferndale Independent Percussion (FIP), we changed our name in 2017 as our process and approach has changed, and the organization you see this season will look completely different in terms of presence, demeanor, and overall production. W

e are proud of our successful beginnings and the foundation we are excited to build on. The members, staff, and volunteers from our first four years have helped paved the way toward our 2018 season, were we hope to make them proud as we enter our 5th year of competition. We seek students who's schools do not already have a winter percussion program and strive to offer quality instruction. After only one year of competition, our students earned a silver medal at WGI World Championships in 2015, and gained a ton of musical direction and life experience. We know you will love our 2018 production, as we have been working on it diligently the entire summer. Please ask us any questions you may have, and we hope to see you or your child at one of our events starting this October 8th at our first audition.
