Ferndale Children’s Center is now enrolling for Summer and Fall 2026. We extend an invitation to children aged 2-6 years to participate in our program, Monday through Friday. Are you contemplating enrolling your 3 and 4-year-olds in public elementary schools? It is advisable to thoughtfully consider this decision. Each child develops at a unique pace, and not all are suited for a school environment with older children where autonomy and self-advocacy are paramount. Our program acknowledges individual developmental needs and provides a supportive environment where children can engage with peers of similar ages and developmental stages. In contrast to some public elementary schools where younger and older children may share the same campus, our program focuses on age-specific interactions. We prioritize allowing children to progress at a natural pace, free from undue stress. Additionally, we recognize the financial strain associated with childcare costs. Although public schooling may appear cost-effective, it is essential to weigh the long-term benefits of early childhood education tailored to individual needs. Families currently receiving subsidies can continue to do so. We champion preserving childhood's essence, acknowledging its fleeting nature and the importance of catering to young children's unique needs. We invite you to join our community.
