To celebrate a fantastic 2025-2026 school year, we are kicking off a new throwback series to look back on the stories that made our community proud.

We are launching the series by revisiting this Oakland County Times feature about University High School teacher Amanda Goodson and her innovative Horror Literature class. Beyond the books, this fan-favorite class provides a unique, supportive space for students to explore the human experience and celebrate their individuality.

Today, we are celebrating 200+ Seniors becoming high school alumni at Ferndale High School, Ferndale's University High School and TCEC at Wayne State University.

To our class of 2026, thank you for your leadership, creativity, and most of all, heart. Ferndale Schools is better because of you. We can’t wait to see where you soar next! Congratulations!
