Self-Enrichment Education with emphasis on the performing arts.
Courses are for children as well as adults and include piano, vocal techniques, artistic cooking, poetry, Renaissance singing, specialty theater, interpretive dance, and creative career design.
Nanette Autry and Friends will present "A Motown Classics R***e: The 1960s," produced by Amelia Musical Playhouse, in celebration of African American Music Month, June 21st, 22nd, 28th and 28th. Rehearsals will begin mid- March with a "Meet and Greet" at the O'Neal Memorial Baptist Church's Educational Building on Saturday, March 16th at 2:00 p.m. The church is located at 474257 E. State Road 200, Fernandina Beach, FL. The featured artists are Stevie Wonder, Mary Wells, Marvin Gaye, Tammi Terrell, The Jackson 5, The Temptations, The Four Tops, Martha and the Vandellas, The Marvelettes, Smokey Robinson and the Miracles, and The Supremes.
