June is Infertility Awareness Month đ
Infertility affects 1 in 6 people, yet itâs still a topic often met with silence. Behind every statistic is a deeply personal story filled with hope, heartbreak, strength, and resilience.
This month, we honor the journeys of those navigating infertility. Every path is valid. Every feeling is real.Â
If youâre walking this path, please know: you are not alone. Your emotions are valid. Your story matters.
Letâs use this month to:â¨đ¤ Raise awarenessâ¨đ¤ Reduce stigmaâ¨đ¤ Support those in the waitingâ¨đ¤ Educate ourselves and othersâ¨đ¤ Offer compassion without assumptions
Be kindâyou never know whoâs quietly carrying this struggle.

ICP Awareness Day đ
I had Intrahepatic Cholestasis of Pregnancy (ICP) with both of my pregnancies â and neither time was straightforward.
With my first, my itching started on my breasts and spread across my whole body. It wasnât âtypical,â but my amazing OB took me seriously. My first test came back negative, but he re-tested anyway â and that second test confirmed ICP. The itching was unbearable at night. I couldnât sleep. Nothing helped. But I felt seen.
During my second pregnancy, I wasnât so lucky at first. I switched practices and started itching in the early second trimester. I told them my history, explained how I felt â but I was brushed off. They tested once. Levels werenât âhigh enough.â They didnât want to test again.
But I knew.
So I kept pushing. And eventually, labs caught up with what my body was already screaming: I had ICP again.
Iâm sharing this because ICP doesnât always present in a textbook way. Itâs not always itchy hands and feet. Itâs not always obvious on the first test. And itâs not always taken seriously.
But itâs serious. Itâs real. And moms deserve to be heard.
Xoxo,
Ali

If youâve never had a NICU experience yourself, it can be hard to know how to show up for a friend whoâs going through it. Itâs one of those seasons thatâs incredibly emotional, physically exhausting, and completely consuming. She may not have the energy to ask for helpâbut that doesnât mean she doesnât need it.đ
Here are some ways you can really support a NICU mama in your life.Â
