🎉💻 BIG congratulations to Corbin Poteet of Hilliard Middle-Senior High School — the winner of a brand new Surface Pro! 👏

This giveaway was part of the Gates Foundation Rural College and Career Grant, created to boost FAFSA applications and Dual Enrollment opportunities right here in Nassau County.

And thanks to the hard work of our students, schools, and community… we didn’t just hit our goal — we CRUSHED it! 🚀

✨ Actual result: an incredible 40% increase!

Corbin is headed to the University of North Florida this fall to study Mechanical Engineering, and we know he has an exciting future ahead! ⚙️🎓

As this school year comes to a close, we also celebrate the end of an incredible term of leadership from our Board President, Tonya Baudek. 💙🍎✨

Yesterday, we had the opportunity to recognize Tonya’s dedication, hard work, and heart for the Nassau Education Foundation. During her time as president, NEF continued to grow, reached major goals, created new ones, and expanded the impact we’re able to make for Nassau County teachers and students every single year. We are so grateful for her leadership and service!

We’re also excited to officially welcome Justin M. Taylor as our new Board President and Jonathan Boswell as President-Elect as we look ahead to another exciting chapter for NEF.

A huge thank you to our entire NEF Board, donors, volunteers, community partners, and supporters who continue to believe in our mission and help make all of this possible. As we wrap up our “Thanks a Million” campaign and celebrate surpassing $1 million in grants supporting Nassau County schools, we are incredibly proud of all we’ve accomplished together.

And while we’re celebrating this milestone, we’re even more excited for the future. We look forward to continuing to grow, support our teachers, and invest in students for years to come. 🌟

Today marked a special moment for the Nassau Education Foundation (NEF) as they elected Justin M. Taylor as Board President.

Justin has served faithfully on the board for many years and now steps into this leadership role alongside NEF Executive Director, Susan DeVane. We also want to extend our sincere appreciation to Tonya Baudek with Summer House Realty, our outgoing Board President, for her leadership, dedication, and service.

What makes this moment even more meaningful is that Justin, Susan, and Tonya are all proud Leadership Nassau alumni — a true reflection of how Leadership Nassau continues to develop and connect leaders who serve our community in meaningful ways.

Since those early days, the Nassau Education Foundation has grown tremendously and has now surpassed $1 million in grants supporting Nassau County schools, teachers, and students.

We are grateful for the leaders, donors, volunteers, and community partners who continue to invest in education and make this impact possible. The future is bright!
