FBHS Class of 1973 50th Reunion

DeDe White Clemons (Class of 1973, wife of Billy Clemons) has had a stroke and is recovering in Fernandina Beach Rehab at 1625 Lime Street. She would appreciate your prayers, and a visit if you are in the area. She is in Room 184 as Deborah Clemons.

Another great get-together at Ron & Susi’s lovely home in Mandarin today! The ribs & chicken were AMAZING, Ron! It was a smaller crowd than usual, but no one left hungry & great conversations were held, and some fun “back in the day” stories were told! Always a joy spending time with the Class of ‘73! 💙🏴‍☠️💛

Next month we will gather on Thursday June 25 12:00 noon at Salt Life, 17 N Fletcher in Fernandina. Hope everyone can make it! 😎

Great gathering for lunch today, Class of ‘73! 💙🏴‍☠️💛 Cantina Louie’s did a great job, but, boy, we make a lot of noise! 😂 It sure is good to see everyone & catch up on our lives. 26 attendees this month!

Next month we will meet at Ron & Susi King’s in Mandarin on Tue May 19. Several people have agreed to drive so if you’d like to go, but don’t want to drive yourself, mention that in a message on the WhatsApp group thread. I will coordinate all the driver’s & passengers & make sure everyone gets there.

As I mentioned before, Ron is cooking up BBQ smoked chicken & St Louis Ribs! Bring a side or dessert to share. Ron says they have plenty of plates & utensils, so, if you can’t decide what to bring, reach out and we’ll see what we still need. Hope everyone can make it! It will be nice not to be confined in a restaurant again! 💙🏴‍☠️💛

Omg, Pirates of ‘73!! 💙🏴‍☠️💛 What a beautiful place we live in (or lived in at one time!). Cecil is the best pilot, so calm & knowledgeable! Everyone needs to do this at least once! Just reach out to Cecil, he loves to take people up!

What a great turnout for our Class of 73 lunch yesterday! A record 28 classmates & spouses.
