EAA Chapter 943

Last Saturday was our 2026 Spring Young Eagles Fly Day at Fernandina Beach. Thanks to the 15 pilots and nearly 80 kids (and their parents) for making this one of our best days ever! Thanks to everyone who stopped by our table at the recent Wings, Wheels & WHY? event. It was great to meet you. Three Chapter members did a fly-by in their Grumman Tiger aircraft, which some claim is the best aircraft in the world. Well, ONE PERSON claims that anyway!

Young Eagles Day is May 16, 2026! We are giving free airplane rides to kids aged 8 -17 at the Fernandina Beach airport. Space is filling up fast so go to https://www.eaachapters.org to sign up. See you there!

Nothing goes together better than pilots and free food. Hot Dogs, actually! EAA Chapter 943 monthly Hot Dog Day is Saturday April 4, chow time starts around 11:30 at the EAA Hangar. Hope to see you there!
