‼️📢 New class coming soon! All Terrain Kettle Bell By Coach Jason Dougherty 📢‼️

Jason is a Fernandina Beach native who served 25 years in the US Marine Corps and Army Special Forces across numerous occupational specialties. He is a CrossFit Level 2 coach, competitor, and tactical athlete who also trained in military combatives incorporating mixed martial arts styles and service systems.

This class will be utilizing the Pavel Tsatsouline method of slow, incremental weight increases. The program is designed to help supplement Jiu Jitsu athletes to improve their games and non athletes to improve their overall strength and conditioning. Open to all and individualized for everyone.

Starting September 17th! Classes will be held every Thursday from 6:30-7:30 pm. Kettle bells will be provided in most weight ranges but anyone can bring their own.

Mark your calendars! On September 27th from 9-11am we will be holding the first of many concealed carry license classes. This class will be held on location at Amelia Island BJJ (432 south 8th street) and will be taught by officer Sal Santangelo (licensed private investigator, owner of DoubleSTrainingandConsulting and active duty law enforcement officer with 7 years of experience) and Professor Brandon Gebel (owner of Amelia Island Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and first degree Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt with over 13 years of experience). You will receive a license for concealed carry in the state of Florida. In addition to the basic requirements for concealed carry, we will go over situations and concepts of real life to introduce the students to what it means to be licensed for concealed carry.
We will begin with a short lecture and finish with live situational drills. The live drills will use targets and a sim gun to demonstrate what it means to be active and reactive in real life situations.

After the class is complete, there will be a one hour “combative training” session, where we will use sim guns and training knives to practice real life scenarios under pressure. This session is open to all people interested in practicing live scenarios and will be included in the class fee. Anyone coming for the combative class only will have to pay a standard $25 drop in for the session. The combative session will run from 11am-12 pm.

This class is $150 per person.
