We loved teaming up with McCluer High School teachers yesterday for an exciting round of our Great Rocket Design Challenge! We had a blast building and launching rockets with them as part of a collaborative, hands-on workshop focused on teamwork and creative problem-solving.

Seeing these dedicated educators bring so much enthusiasm, curiosity, and team spirit to the launch field was truly inspiring. Thank you to the incredible McCluer High School team for an unforgettable day!

Astronaut Dr. Leroy Chiao broke barriers as NASA’s youngest astronaut and one of the first Asian American astronauts in history. He'll share more this Friday night at the Clark Family Branch when he discusses his new book “Dinner with an Astronaut: Serving Space Stories–Past, Present, and Future." www.slcl.org/authors

Amazing! Our first trip back to the moon in over 50 years has resulted in some beautiful imagery of our closest celestial neighbor. The Artemis II crew did a phenomenal job yesterday collecting data from their flyby and collaborating with the science team in Mission Control. Great job! NASA Artemis

📢 🚀 We are excited to announce that we've opened up a second week of our popular Drone Explorers camp for June 1 - 5!

In Drone Explorers, campers will not only learn to pilot drones, they’ll get to design, build and take one home! Our week will focus on building a drone from scratch - learning about all of the different components. Campers will learn how to solder, and learn the tips, tricks and terminology for navigating challenging aerial situations.
