🚨 School Closure Notice 🚨

Johnson-Wabash & Ferguson Middle,

Due to a power outage in the area, Johnson-Wabash and Ferguson Middle will not have school today. Crews are working to restore the impacted area. This closure only impacts JW and Ferguson Middle. All other schools will operate normally.

Our plan is to have Ameren restore power and return to in-person learning on Wednesday, April 29. If, for any reason, the plan changes, we will notify families and staff as soon as possible.

Thank you for your understanding as we work to resolve this unexpected issue.

Stay Warm and Stay Safe Comets!!

Due to inclement weather and hazardous road conditions, all Ferguson-Florissant schools, district offices, and buildings will be closed tomorrow, Monday, January 26, 2026. All after-school ​and evening athletics and activities are also cancelled.

This will be a traditional snow day. Students will not have school, and we will not use an AMI Virtual Learning Day.

As a reminder, the district’s plan for inclement weather days will be the first five (5) days will be traditional snow days. This is our second snow day. If we need to take another inclement weather day after this, we will have another snow day.

Stay in, stay warm, and read a good book.

Your Student Council Government is excited to celebrate Spirit Week at Ferguson Middle School from December 15–19! Each day has a fun theme to encourage school spirit, creativity, and community. Participation is encouraged for all students.Students who choose not to participate in a Spirit Day must be in school uniform.

Please review the schedule below:

Monday, 12/15 – Twin Day
Dress alike with a friend, classmate, or staff member.

Tuesday, 12/16 – Y2K Day
Rock your early-2000s fashion: denim, bright colors, accessories, and retro tech styles.

Wednesday, 12/17 – Army Fatigues Day
Wear camouflage or army-style gear (school-appropriate).

Thursday, 12/18 – Cartoon Character Day
Dress as your favorite cartoon or animated character.

Friday, 12/19 – Holiday Outfits Day
Wear flannel, holiday pajamas, or festive colors (red, green, silver, blue, gold).
