🎓✨ Last Day for the Class of 2026! ✨🎓

Today, we celebrate the final day of high school for the Fergus Falls High School seniors! What feels like just yesterday was their first day walking through these halls, and now they are preparing to take their next steps into the world.

We are proud of all they have accomplished - the memories they've made, the challenges they've overcome, and the impact they've left on our school community. As they close this chapter and look ahead to graduation, we wish them success, happiness, and endless opportunities in the future.

Congratulations, seniors! Your Otter family is cheering you on every step of the way.👏

McKinley elementary students participated in the Kids Heart Challenge in February with a lofty goal of raising $7,000 for the American Heart Association. They quickly reached that goal, so a bonus goal of $9,000 was set with added incentive.

Upon reaching both goals, McKinley's top fundraisers earned the right to SLIME Mrs. Lill, pie her in the face, and turn her hair pink for the occasion.

The bonus goal added another sliming victim, Mr. Casey Daucsavage, a special education paraprofessional from McKinley.

On Thursday, May 21, SLIME TIME arrived and the McKinley crew all enjoyed an hilarious inflatable race by beloved adults in the building in addition to the SLIME! Sticky, loud, and well-earned fun was had by all.

McKinley students totaled $9,267.29 raised and jumped their hearts out for the cause!

Yesterday was World Otter Day!

We knew we wanted to recognize it with a post, but wanted to use student-created art. We asked the art teachers to see if a student would be interested.

Sheariah Shepherd answered the call. While we didn't get it in time to post yesterday...IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT!

Yesterday we celebrated our staff! Years of Service pins were awarded; retirees were recognized; Teachers of the Year Ethan Soland and Niki Welde were honored; and six Support Staff of the Year winners were announced.
