Preschool at Trinity Walking the path of learning, faith, and friendship. Kindergarten readiness skills and social skills are important in the classroom.

Children here are taught in a fun, friendly environment where learning happens through worship, art and craft projects, stories, songs, finger plays, free choice play, and using large and fine motor skills. Preschool at Trinity serves children who are 3-5 years old.

B is for bunny and butterfly. Our Wednesday class had a bunny visit for show-and-tell and our amazing monarch butterfly expert Helen Johansen visited both classes to share information on the life of a monarch butterfly from the egg to migration to Mexico.

A is for Apple! Our Tuesday/Thursday class is having so much fun experiencing apples. They were taking turns smushing the apple with a hammer and figured out they can sometimes both hold the hammer. Magnifying glasses to see what the dark spots are and Mrs Schneeberger cut the apples open to find the seeds and look if the worms might still be there.

Preschool is for exploring and today we are exploring apples.

1st day of preschool for our Monday/Wednesday/Friday class! These nine (9) students packed in ALL the energy! So full of plans that they need to return another day to finish their play goal. They filled the day with play, chapel, snacks, calendar and weather, sharing family photos, and more play. After parents picked up their morning kids, the afternoon kids continued the fun with lunch, play, quiet time, snack, more play. These kids had so much fun learning they were tired at pick up time. It is going to be such an awesome year!

Today was the first day of school for our Tuesday/Thursday class. The morning zoomed by as the kids explored, played, attended chapel, reviewed calendar and weather, snacked and played in the gym.

It is going to be a GREAT year. As you can see, still lots of room in this class. Preschool at Trinity offers a small class setting in this group.

So much fun at our play date Monday night. (I forgot to get photos on the playground).

Registration is open for our classes. The classroom, playroom and library are also ready for the year. Contact Trinity Lutheran Church and School 218-736-4869 to arrange for a tour. Stop in during office hours for a registration packet or find one on line at preschoolattrinity.org under the enroll tab.
