Meet Your Provider!

Hi everyone! I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself, now that we’ve been open for a little while! My name is Abby, and I'm the owner and primary provider here at Swan's Nest Learning Center!

Many people are surprised to learn that Swan's Nest is a Class A Licensed Family Child Care. While our program operates in a commercial space, we're licensed as a family child care, allowing us to provide a warm, nurturing environment where every child is known, encouraged, and celebrated.

A few fun facts about me:

-Mother of 3 wonderful girls
-EMT certified
-Currently pursuing my bachelors degree
-Loves playing the piano, hiking/outdoors, rock hunting, and visiting my home state (Louisiana)

One of my greatest joys is building relationships with each child and their family. It is such a privilege to watch children learn new skills, grow in confidence, and discover the world around them.

This week at Swans Nest, we explored Butterfly Park, created with Play-Doh, picked wildflowers, enjoyed homemade meals, and spent lots of time learning through play. We love ending each week with happy, tired kiddos and plenty of new memories. What a great first few weeks it’s been!
