This was the last week of school at the ALC. It also marks the end of an era. Congratulations to Mrs. Tuel as she retires as an ALC legend!

Friday morning was the last day for many of our seniors, so a few of our teachers decided to send them off with a delicious breakfast! Thank you to Mr. Rodriguez, Mrs. Salokar, and Mrs. Angus for some delicious breakfast!

Today we recognized our Academic All-Stars and Rollo Award recipients for second semester of the 22-23 school year. To be an Academic All-Star a student must have at least 90% attendance and a C or better in all classes. To be a Rollo Award recipient a student must be nominated by a staff member and meet a set of criteria that includes: hardworking, respectful, responsible, honest, leadership, role model, kind, and optimistic. Congratulations!

Today we honored the MAAP Stars contestants that competed last week at the state competition. Our students did excellent work and absolutely deserve the recognition! The Promo Video (linked below) earned 1st place!

Today the students of the ALC participated in Pay-It-Forward Day. Mr Burlingame's class read books to 1st and 2nd graders at Adams Elementary. Mrs Salokar's class did highway clean up. It was a fun time for all!

The 8th annual FFALC Advisory Olympics is complete and we have the results:

In 3rd place is Mrs. Salokar's Advisory!

Last week the ALC held our annual pie contest on the day before Thanksgiving. The winning pie was a chocolate peanut butter pie made by Mrs. Salokar's advisory! Great work, everyone!
