We were excited to welcome the Fenton Fire Department to St. Paul today! Our students had the opportunity to learn about fire safety by exploring the fire equipment, visiting the smokehouse, and seeing our firefighters visit classrooms.

Our primary students also enjoyed a special lunch with our firefighter guests! ❤️

A huge thank you to the Fenton Fire Department for taking time to educate, encourage, and connect with our students. We are grateful for all you do to keep our community safe.

💙✝️ Today, our St. Paul Catholic School community gathered for an All-School Rosary in honor of the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary. We then celebrated a special Pet Blessing in honor of St. Francis of Assisi, giving thanks for the gift of our beloved animals and asking God’s blessing upon them.🐾🐈💛

To learn more about how geography, climate, and limited resources affected early pioneers, our 6th graders experienced some aspects of daily pioneer life. Activities included cooking over an open flame, 'hunting' with bows and arrows, butter making, making a quill pen, washing clothes using a washboard, a traditional school house (including the dunce cap), an old-fashioned church service, journaling, and how to shop at a trade post based on wagon space and needs vs. wants. Great job, pioneers!

Our 2nd graders are learning about the Sacrament of Baptism! To help deepen their understanding of this special sacrament, Fr. Mark baptized the students’ teddy bears from home. What a fun and meaningful way to bring their learning to life!

To learn more about worms and their environment, our 7th graders used water and trowels to find some of their own. Students noticed how worms react to light, moisture, and touch. Handling living creatures with care fosters respect for nature and an early understanding of ecological responsibility. As you can tell by their expressions, some of our vermeologists enjoyed the activity more than others. 😄

Dear Families,
PTO is excited to welcome everyone to our upcoming Grandparents Day on Friday, October 2! We are expecting a large number of special guests, so we kindly ask everyone for a little extra patience and understanding as we welcome and get everyone settled. We appreciate your help in making the morning a special experience for all of our guests!

Please take note of the following important details:

Arrival: Grandparents may begin arriving at the church at 9:00 AM. Please do not arrive earlier, as there will be a parish Mass at 8:00 AM.
Seating: Reserved seating information can be found on the attached map. Please be sure to share the map with grandparents prior to the event to help eliminate any confusion the morning of the event.
Student Arrival: Students will walk over to the church around 9:15 AM to join their grandparents.
Mass: Mass begins promptly at 9:30 AM. Following Mass, Mrs. McCaslin will provide directions for classroom and school tours, as well as our donut and coffee event in the Parish Life Center (gym).
Dismissal: Grandparents Day will wrap up around 11:15 AM. If you indicated on the registration form that your child has permission to leave with their grandparent, they may do so at this time. Otherwise, students MUST remain until our regular half-day dismissal at 11:30 AM.
For students without grandparents attending: They will enjoy a fun morning with Mrs. Eilerman and Mrs. Sandweg.

We look forward to celebrating this special day with our students, their grandparents, and our school community! Thank you in advance for your patience and flexibility as we welcome so many special guests to St. Paul.
