On Sept/23rd, over at the WEE Preschool in Eureka, MO, teachers, parents and preschoolers had a great time touching real dinosaur fossils. Alan Westfall talked about dinosaurs in general and the Triceratops. Denise Jones talked about the fossilization process and marine fossils found in Missouri and I talked about characteristics of the T.rex. The preschoolers looked so cute wearing their dinosaur hats they made and at the end of the presentation, sang us their traditional dinosaur song.

On Saturday, August/29th, Adventure 360 staff ( Ron Giesler - Director, Gary Schaefer, Jake Angell and myself) traveled to SEMO, down in Cape Girardeau to work with Pamela Mills students on the fossils they found in Montana this summer. The students did an outstanding job cleaning their fossils. It was a fun day and we all had a great time together.

Our second Field School with Kevin Ley’s students from Veritas Classical School, Saint Augustine, Florida, had a great time prospecting for dinosaur fossils in Northeastern Montana with lots of good finds. Excellent presentations were given by Ron Giesler, Dr. Nick Thurber and Erin Roberts. Dr. Thurber did an outstanding job teaching the stratigraphic course out in the field. The students were also taught how to jacket a dinosaur fossil.

Our families had a great time looking for micro fossils over at the Woody Alan site. Over at Wi******er Ridge, They found lots of nice Triceratops fossils that included, a rib, frill, p***s bone, brain case and a possible scapula. To get to Wi******er Ridge, we had to wade across a small river. They also had fun jacketing fossils back at the Garfield Motel.

Our first Field School with the SEMO students was an outstanding week of prospecting for dinosaur fossils, micro fossils with a course in stratigraphic for the students headed by Dr. Ben Faulkner. There were outstanding finds that included a metatarsal by Woody and another metatarsal by Hope Stafford.

Over at the Woody Alan Site. Everyone had a great time prospecting for micro fossils. Jen Ludwig found a T.Rex tooth to become the latest member of the T.Rex Tooth Club.

Everyone attending the Adventure 360 Adult Week, Jun 22-26, had a great time prospecting for dinosaur fossils in northeastern Montana. There were a lot of good finds that included Triceratops brain case, vertebrae, and triceratops frill. The presentation by Ron Giesler (Adventure 360 Director), Erin Roberts and Dr. Ben Faulkner were outstanding.
