🌭🎭 PRE-SHOW PICNIC — SHAKESPEARE IN THE PARK! 🎭🌭 RSVP via this post or through facebook messenger to let us know if you will be joining!

Join the Fenton Arts Council for a fun Pre-Show Picnic on opening night of Shakespeare in the Park at Rackham Park, behind the Fenton Fenton Community and Cultural Center, featuring The Two Gentlemen of Verona! 🌳✨ Wishing Well Theatre Inc

🧺 Picnic begins at 5:00 PM
🎭 Seating opens at 6:30 PM
🎟️ Show begins at 7:30 PM

FAC will provide hot dogs, buns & condiments. Members are encouraged to bring a dish to pass, and don’t forget to bring a chair!

🎟️ Don’t forget to purchase your tickets ahead of time to save on the ticket price!

Come picnic with your fellow FAC members and then settle in for a wonderful evening of Shakespeare in the Park! 💛🎨🎭

🎨 ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: Natalie Burcham Perkins

The Fenton Arts Council is excited to spotlight Natalie Perkins, whose beautiful figurative work focuses primarily on portraiture, capturing the unique beauty and individuality of her subjects as well as serene moments of everyday life.

After a career as a school counselor, Natalie followed the creative calling she had felt since childhood and began pursuing art full time. A native Michigander, Natalie now calls Fenton home. ❤️

✨ Come experience Natalie’s work in person at the Fenton Arts Council exhibit at the Beale Street Gallery.

Join the Fenton Arts Council on Tuesday, August 18 at 6:00 PM for an evening of creativity, connection, and a little experimenting!

This month we’ll be exploring Botanical Monoprints, experimenting with printing on felt and other media as we prepare for our upcoming FAC retreat, “Nurtured by Nature.” 🌱🍃 No experience necessary—come ready to create and have fun!

🎶🥁 WHAT A NIGHT! 🥁🎶

Another amazing Fenton Farmer's Market Family Night is in the books! 💕 The Fenton Arts Council had such a great time bringing a little Music Magic to Rackham Park with our “Feel the Beat” Family Night! 🎵✨

🎨 Our Creation Station was busy with kids creating and decorating their own paper plate tambourines.
🎶 The Music Wall gave everyone a chance to experiment, make some noise, and get creative with sound.
🥁 And our Drum Circle, led by Lisa Pearson, brought everyone together to feel the beat and make music as a community!

There’s something pretty special about watching kids and families create, play, laugh, and experience the arts together. ❤️

A HUGE thank you to Lisa Pearson, all of our volunteers, the families who stopped by, and everyone who helps make these Family Nights possible. We love being part of a community that supports creativity and the arts!
