Katie Porritt passed away 1/20/22 after a brave 8 month battle with melanoma cancer.

Katie worked tirelessly to give the class of 2021 all the “lasts” that Senior year should be.

Please keep Gary, Madilyn, Ally and Abby in your thoughts and prayers as the navigate thru this time and adjust to their new chapter.

PORRITT BURNETT, Katie Katie was born on January 2, 1973 in Flint, Michigan. She lost her battle with cancer on January 20, 2022 at the age of 49 at the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, January 28, 2022 at

PROJECT GRADUATION INFORMATION
We are looking forward to a great time with our seniors tomorrow at Genesys Health Club! We have some fun things planned! Following are some reminders to make check-in and participation easier:

Check-in at Genesys Health Club is at 10:00 PM on Sunday, May 23 – seniors must be checked in by 10:30 PM
Medication that must be taken during the event needs to be provided to a volunteer/staff member during check-in
We must have all permission slips (Powers and two pages for Genesys) or your child cannot participate
Masks must be worn at all times inside of the club except while eating or swimming
No cell phones allowed (best to leave at home or in the car, we will have security walking the parking lot throughout the evening) If your child brings their cell phone in, we will have them put it in a baggie with their name on it and hold it until the event is over
Seniors should not bring any type of liquids into the club
No hard or dark soled shoes allowed in most areas of the club
Have your child bring a towel if they plan on using the pool
Students are not allowed to exit the building or leave the event until it is over at 4:00 AM
