Our 2nd annual SOUPer Bowl Canned Food Drive is coming up from Monday, February 2nd through Friday, February 13th in 2nd hour classes. Parents can also purchase items from our Amazon Wish List linked below to be delivered to Summit. Students who bring in cans will be entered into a raffle for prizes throughout the two weeks. The 2nd-hour class with the highest number of cans brought in per person will also receive a prize. The top 3 classes will be awarded. If parents wish to purchase items from Amazon to be delivered to Summit, simply put your student's name in the gift message and we will award the points to your student and their 2nd hour. All donations will go to Circle of Concern in Valley Park. We appreciate your help to make it a success! Please consider adding some canned food items to your grocery run this weekend!

Last Friday, we had our annual Veteran's Day Celebration. Special Thanks to Laurie Philipp, CCE, Cheer, and all groups involved for putting on a fantastic event year after year! Happy Veterans Day to all who served!

Rockwood Summit is hosting a drive for Heroes Care to collect items for care packages for soldiers that are deployed. We will be collecting October 22nd - November 6th! Bring donations such as essential hygiene items (non aerosol), non perishable snacks (please no canned items or chocolate), and recreational items(no batteries)! Students will donate to their second hour teacher. The class with the most donations gets a donut party! Each student who brings in ten or more donations or donates $50 will be entered into a raffle for a $25 QT giftcard! Items can also be purchased on Amazon and sent directly to the school.

It's College Awareness Week! Students should wear college attire and talk with adults about their college journey. Other opportunities include the Mini-College Fair on Wednesday 10/15 during AcLab, College Information Night on Thursday 10/16 at 6:45pm, and Seniors can attend a FAFSA Completion Workshop on Sunday 10/19 at 2:00pm. We hope to see you at these events!
