4️⃣ CESA 3 held its fourth annual Paraprofessional Summit at Southwest Tech on Monday.

🎤 Dr. Paula Kluth, a former K-12 special educator who has served as a classroom teacher, co-teacher, and inclusion facilitator, served as keynote speaker. She is founding member and principal consultant for Inclusion Rules LLC.

1️⃣3️⃣5️⃣ More than 130 educators learned five powerful ways to provide high-quality support such as presuming competence, assessing proximity and cues, and prioritize peers in inclusive settings and beyond. These ideas were designed with both new and veteran paraprofessionals in mind and will help anyone create success stories for students with and without disabilities.
