Southwest Tech’s MSF 3-Wheel Basic Rider Course is designed for beginning riders who want to build their skills in a supportive, hands-on environment.

Participants will practice:

MASS FATALITIES INCIDENT RESPONSE

Participants will learn about planning for and responding to mass-fatality incidents, including incident management, morgue operations, family assistance, roles and responsibilities, and available federal support. The course concludes with a tabletop exercise.

Ted was an Fire Service Training Instructor at Southwest Tech for many years and touched the lives of many firefighters in the district. He was a mentor and a friend. Our sympathy to his family.

The instructors are top notch, extremely knowledgeable and heavily invested in their students and the success and wellbeing of their students. The program is extremely thorough, making sure you know everything you need in order to be successful in law enforcement.

Last night, the Southwest Tech Law Enforcement Academy recruits graduated.

Graduation is always a bittersweet moment. We are proud to see our recruits complete the Academy and prepare for what the future holds, but today the halls of the Public Safety building are noticeably quiet. There is no sound of recruits bantering back and forth, and no instructors wrangling them back into class after a break.

To our graduates: congratulations on your hard work, dedication, and commitment throughout the Academy. We are proud of what you have accomplished and look forward to seeing the positive impact you will make in your communities.
