Redwood Mountain Early Education Center

Redwood Mountain Early Education Center Redwood Mountain Early Education Center is part of Community Bridges' Early Education Division. Part-time and full-day care are available for your children.

Redwood Mountain EEC is one of six centers operated by the Early Education Division, a program of Community Bridges. Through positive guidance, dynamic curriculum, and a bilingual program, we create a foundation for children's healthy development and school readiness. We work with children to foster: early literacy skills and a love of reading; self-awareness and self-expression; curiosity, explor

ation and creativity; positive conflict resolution skills; respect for self, family, community, and the environment; diversity awareness and sensitivity. Fees are based on a sliding scale, and we offer subsidized care for qualified low-income working families. We also provide opportunities and resources for families to gain knowledge, improve parenting skills, share information, and develop leadership skills.

International Self Care Day đź’™

Self care isn't selfish. It's one of the most important investments you can make in your health and well being.

A good night's sleep. A nourishing meal. A walk outside. Setting healthy boundaries. Asking for help when you need it. Spending time with people who lift you up. These everyday choices can make a lasting difference in our physical, mental, and emotional health.

But self care isn't always something we can do alone. Sometimes, it begins with having access to the right support.

At Community Bridges, we're committed to making health and well being more accessible across Santa Cruz and Monterey counties. Whether it's affordable counseling and family support through our Family Resource Collectives, healthy foods and nutrition education through WIC, nutritious meals through Meals on Wheels, or enriching day services through Elderday that help older adults and adults with disabilities stay healthy, connected, and independent at home, these are just a few of the many ways Community Bridges supports our community every day.

Whether you're looking for support, caring for a loved one, know someone who could benefit from our services, or simply believe everyone deserves the opportunity to thrive, Community Bridges is here to help.

Father’s Day is a time to recognize and appreciate the fathers, father figures, and caregivers who show up with love, guidance, and support 💚

We honor the many ways fatherhood is expressed—through patience, sacrifice, encouragement, and care that helps shape strong families and communities.

Strong families are built through connection and support, and today we celebrate all those who help provide stability, love, and guidance in a child’s life 💚

Freedom is not just a moment in history—it’s an ongoing commitment.

On Emancipation Day, we honor the resilience of those who fought for liberation and reflect on the work that continues today. True freedom is rooted in dignity, equity, and opportunity for all.

As a community, we move forward by uplifting one another, removing barriers, and ensuring every person has access to the resources they need to thrive.

Tomorrow, March 31st, many of our offices will be closed.

We often use this time to reflect on the legacy of Cesar Chavez, farmworkers, and the fight, progress, and accomplishments of the many labor leaders and civil rights activists who have worked for years to advance dignity and respect for workers.

We understand that this year, this moment may feel very different. The accusations made against Cesar Chavez are jarring and disheartening, and they should be taken seriously. When survivors of abuse come forward and share their experiences, we must listen to them, believe them, and honor their courage with support and respect.

Though we observe this time with mixed emotions, we also recognize that the movement for workers’ rights has never belonged to one person. It has always been shaped by thousands of individuals—many of them women, immigrants, and people of color—whose leadership and contributions have too often gone unrecognized. Their organizing, advocacy, and persistence have been essential in moving this work forward.

That legacy lives on today through the ongoing efforts of people who continue to organize, speak out, and demand justice in their communities.

The fight for worker justice, dignity, and civil rights will continue—as it always has—driven by the collective power of people.
