I love a clear intention. I really do. But the vision board has been doing a lot of heavy lifting lately.

Here’s where the manifesting usually stalls:

• The universe is not your sales team.
Clarity is powerful. It still needs you to open your mouth and invite someone.
• Belief and action aren’t a choose-one.
Possibility Consciousness says there’s always a way. It doesn’t say the way skips the conversation.
• Aligned action is still action.
Spiritual and practical aren’t opposites. The call still has to be made.
• Tell three people this week.
Exactly who you help and what changes for them. That’s the spell that works.

Your Future Self holds the vision and makes the call. Both. That’s the whole trick.

Share this with someone whose vision board is fuller than her calendar.

When you try to be for everyone, your Ideal Client can’t feel that you’re for her.

Here is what widening the message actually costs you:

• “Everyone” is nobody’s description of herself.
She doesn’t wake up as “everyone.” She wakes up with one specific problem on her mind.
• Specific is what she recognizes.
The right woman reads a specific line and thinks, that’s me. Broad language never earns that.
• Narrow doesn’t mean small.

It means the people who do fit finally feel seen enough to reach out.

You’re becoming the Coach or Holistic Practitioner one person can point to and say, she’s exactly who I needed.

The niche spiral is a real place and a lot of brilliant Coaches live there rent-free. It goes like this:

Her: okay, I’ll niche down.
Also her: but what if I get bored, or miss someone, or pick wrong?
Her: so I’ll keep it broad to be safe.
Also her: why is it so hard to explain what I do?
Mentor: because “safe and broad” and “easy to refer” can’t both be true.
A niche isn’t a life sentence. It’s the sentence that lets the right person find you now. You can grow it later.

You’re becoming the practitioner who can say who she helps in one breath, without the spiral.

Attracting the right clients isn’t about saying more. It’s about knowing what to say at each stage of the conversation.

That’s why we teach Heartselling®. You open the conversation, find out what she’s looking for, share a resource, see if you’re a match, ask for the next step, and then dance with her Concerns.

Once you understand the structure, selling starts to feel a lot more like a connected conversation with an old friend.

You don’t need to become someone else to enroll clients. You need a process you can trust, and the skill to stay present inside the conversation.

That’s Transformational Leadership.

Save this so you can come back to the framework before your next Discovery Call.

The bio sounds impressive. Could it belong to practically anyone?

Picture a Coach asking generic AI to write her bio. Out comes a beautifully confident paragraph about empowering people and transforming lives.

Wonderful. Which people? What actually happens when they work with you?

Here’s what generic AI doesn’t know: your story, your specific language, the real result the last person you worked with actually got. Give it a vague prompt and it writes a vague bio. Give it the real ingredients and the output changes completely.

Before you put your name on anything: feed the tool your actual story and your own words. Then read the result out loud. If you’d never say it in a conversation, it doesn’t belong in your bio.

Your Ideal Client deserves to meet you in that paragraph. She shouldn’t have to guess who’s behind it.

What’s the most ridiculous phrase AI has put in your bio?

You are already good at your work.
Another certification is not going to fill your calendar, and part of you already knows that.

Here is what actually moves it:

-You were sold information when you needed action.
The courses were never the problem. Believing the next one would finally do the inviting for you was.

-Certainty comes from reps, not credentials.
You do not learn to book consults by reading about them. You learn by having them.

-The avoided conversation is where the income lives.
The one you keep putting off until you feel more “qualified” is usually the exact one that changes things.

-You do not need to know more before you begin.
You need to have the conversation you have been studying your way around.

Save this for the next time you are tempted to sign up for another certification instead of inviting a potential client to work with you.

09/27/2026

The question that moved that conversation wasn’t about the price.

This was in the early days, before Thrive Academy, when I was building my own practice.

When I told Jesse I needed to hire a business coach, he said, “Whatever it costs, you and I both know you can’t afford it.” We argued. Finally I got quiet and asked him one question: “Do you believe in me?” He said later that the room started spinning. After what seemed like a long time, he said yes. Then I asked him to loan me the money. He did.

Who believed in you before you had much to show for it?

You were told to post more, build another funnel, get one more certification, and stay quiet until you felt ready. None of it filled your calendar. Here is why walking away from that advice is the smart move:

1. The model was broken, not you.
You did the things you were told to do. The problem was the instructions, not your effort.

2. More information was never the missing piece.
Another course does not book a single consult. A real conversation does.

3. Walking away is not quitting.
It is choosing the path that actually talks to real humans instead of hiding behind one more funnel.

4. The right model is simpler than the one you left.
Clear positioning, real conversations, consistent invitations. Fewer moving parts, more actual clients.

Leaving the old way behind is not a step back. It is the first step toward the business you actually want.

Share this with a Coach still stuck in the old way.

Being authentic starts looking like a very long afternoon when you’ve decided every word has to come without any help.

Picture a Coach who refuses every template and every AI tool because the words have to be entirely hers. Four hours later, she has one email and a lot less enthusiasm for writing the next one.

I understand wanting your work to sound like you. A generic template with someone else’s story dropped into it would miss the point.

But a structure can help you tell your own story in a way that deeply impacts your ideal clients and has them want to hire you.

You still decide what’s true, which words you’d actually say, and what you want the reader to understand. Those decisions don’t disappear because you had some help getting started.

Your Future Self gets to use support and keep her voice. At Thrive, our proven templates are baked into Nova AI (24/7 on-demand coach) to help you practice what works, so you can spend more time talking to real humans and making real invitations.

Share this with a Coach who thinks using a template means losing her voice.

That childhood dream still shows up in the way I live.

As a pre-teen girl in the 80’s, I wanted to be Madonna, a singer, a dancer, a performer who lit people up.

That dream got buried for a long time. But it never died: it’s why I light up on stage now, and it’s why you’ll find me dancing or on roller skates, in my flow, fully embodied and self-expressed.

I’m an entertainer and a performer. Always have been.

So when you see dancing or skating here, you are seeing something I have loved for a very long time. It belongs alongside the teaching and the business.

There may be something you loved long before anyone needed you to be responsible, professional or useful. You can give that part of yourself some room in the business you’re building now.

What did you love doing before you started wondering whether it was practical?
