Our final day was all about using nature to create beautiful art! I absolutely loved having this program! Looking forward to working with Grades K and 1 in the spring. Huge thank you to everyone who volunteered their time and made donations❤️

Such a blast at Garden Club doing all things Apple! The children sampled 3 varieties, tried apple cider while listening to a read aloud, and explored math and science concepts! Love this after school club❤️

The students and staff of Lake Forest North showed their support today and proudly wore either floral designs, green clothing, gardner outfits, floral hair accessories, and more today. Thank you to all of the grandparents that took the time to stop by the Garden during our grandparents event. Donations have been coming in many forms to help expand and prepare for our after school garden club! These donations have consisted of pumpkins, mums, and even monetary gifts!! Words cannot express how grateful we are for all of the wonderful donations we have received. Thank you again for all of your support!!

A little update from the garden at North. We had an amazing spring and summer with various vegetables, herbs, and flowers growing beautifully! A few staff members helped deep clean the area in preparation for the new school year and boy is it sparkling!!

With that being said, as we prepare for the beautiful fall months ahead, we are in hopes of donations for any mums and/or pumpkins to help decorate the space as well as provide learning opportunities for our students on both items.

Some of the plants have not done well in the heat, but the tomatoes are thriving! Stay tuned for what happens on clean up day Thursday!

Had some beautiful surprises in the garden today. Three tomatoes were ready to be picked, new flowers were blooming, and the lettuce is ready to be harvested! Additionally, I can tell someone has been helping out with watering. It truly takes a village❤️
