❄❄ WINTER WEATHER UPDATE ❄❄

In anticipation of tomorrow’s inclement weather, our previously scheduled half day, and the potential for challenging travel conditions in the morning, the Red Lion Area School District will be operating on an asynchronous instructional day on Tuesday, December 23, 2025. Students will not report to school and teachers will provide instructional details. Students will not meet with teachers virtually and will complete work independently. Again, the Red Lion Area School District will be operating on an asynchronous instruction day on Tuesday, December 23, 2025.

Please continue to monitor messages should we need to update the operating schedule due to changing conditions.

All staff should follow the guidelines for a two hour delay for report times. Should you have any questions please contact your immediate supervisor.

❄️ Winter Weather Update❄️

As a result of deteriorating road conditions and the weather forecast for the morning commute, the Red LIon Area School District is now closed. Today will be a traditional snow day and further instructions for afternoon and evening activities will be communicated to staff and families.

Good evening~
Red Lion and South Eastern are on 2-hour delays. Growing Friends is open tomorrow, Tuesday, December 2nd, 6am-6pm.
3’s PSP will operate on a 2-hour delay of class 11am-1:30pm.
We will continue to monitor weather conditions this evening and tomorrow morning.
Any questions or changes in your child’s attendance due to this, please let us know.

As some of our families may already know, there was a fire this past Sunday at the Parsonage where Pastor Becky lives. The house suffered significant damage, and most belongings were lost. We are incredibly grateful that no one was injured. Pastor Becky’s stepson was the only one home at the time, and her husband and their dogs were safely at their other residence a few hours away.

Several families have already reached out, asking how they can help. At this time, gift cards (grocery stores, TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Walmart, Visa/Mastercard) or monetary donations would be the most supportive as Pastor Becky begins to rebuild.

Donations can be made by cash or check.
Checks may be made payable to Growing Friends, with “Parsonage Fire Fund” written in the memo line.
If sending cash, please label the envelope so it is not credited toward tuition.
