Where does it all go? Donations given to WoW are used for the operations of the school including, but not limited to: teachers salaries,

As we ended the school year singing “Goodness of God,” we were reminded of what a gift it has been to watch His hand guide our little moments, provide strength for the unexpected, and give us grace for every new day. Thank you, God, for being so good through it all. ❤️

Our field trip to Dayton Dollar Book Swap was one for the “books”! Upper level students have been working hard to meet their reading goals, and their hard work paid off with our “Breakfast and Books” outing.📚

Watching these kids wander through the bookstore with so much excitement and arms full of books was a heartwarming reminder of the power of reading. There’s nothing sweeter than watching kids fall in love with books!

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week to a team of teachers who don’t just teach lessons - they live out a calling. They plant seeds of knowledge and faith in the hearts of WoW students, and they go above and beyond in quiet, faithful ways that reflect Christ’s love in action. What a blessing they are!

Our Level 5 students truly brought their A-game to our “Long Way from Chicago” inspired Bake Off!

Inspired by the stories and spirit of the book, they mixed creativity into every recipe. From planning to presentation, each student showed pride in their work, and a little friendly competition made it even sweeter.

It was wonderful to see students take something from literature and turn it into such a fun, hands-on experience—full of learning, and some seriously impressive baked goods! 🍰

Our students put their creativity and problem-solving skills to the test by building their own robotic hands. I think our future is in good “hands”! 👏👏👏

After reading a novel about WWII and the N**i resistance, Level 5 took a trip to the Holocaust and Humanity Center at Union Terminal. This interactive museum does a great job of showing us how we don’t have to be bystanders when people are being treated unjustly- we can be upstanders! History reminds us of the devastating consequences of silence, so we loved seeing real life examples of how small acts of standing up for what is right can make a lasting difference.

100th Day of School = instant retirement community 😅

Our “elderly” students shuffled in with canes and curlers today to celebrate 100 days of learning. 👵 Of course someone needed to supervise bingo night and dispense the jello cups, so teachers worked overtime as Senior Living Specialists—keeping track of everyone and preventing walker pile-ups at the classroom door.

Aging has never been this fun — happy 100th day! 🎉
