🌎 Around the World with Mr. T’s Level 5 Enrichment Class! 🌍

Our Level 5 students have been researching countries from around the world and sharing their discoveries. Along the way, they’ve explored fascinating cultural facts, learned about traditions, performed traditional dances, and even sampled foods from the countries they studied!

What a fun, hands-on way to learn about the world beyond our own borders. We love seeing our students’ curiosity, creativity, and confidence grow as they share their knowledge and experience new things together!

Our students had a wonderful visit to Fighting Chance Rescue this week! This is a critical-care equine rescue where we learned about animal welfare, compassion, rehabilitation, and the responsibility involved in caring for animals in need. It was a special opportunity for our students to see firsthand the love and sacrifice that goes into giving these animals a second chance.

We are so thankful to Fighting Chance Rescue for welcoming our students and making learning meaningful beyond the classroom! 🐴

What a wonderful first week of school!

From classroom learning and hands-on activities to chapel, worship, nature study, and all the little moments in between, this week has been full of excitement and new beginnings!

We’re so thankful for our students, families, and teachers who make our learning community so special. We’re looking forward to all that God has in store for this year! 📚

As we ended the school year singing “Goodness of God,” we were reminded of what a gift it has been to watch His hand guide our little moments, provide strength for the unexpected, and give us grace for every new day. Thank you, God, for being so good through it all. ❤️

Our field trip to Dayton Dollar Book Swap was one for the “books”! Upper level students have been working hard to meet their reading goals, and their hard work paid off with our “Breakfast and Books” outing.📚

Watching these kids wander through the bookstore with so much excitement and arms full of books was a heartwarming reminder of the power of reading. There’s nothing sweeter than watching kids fall in love with books!

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week to a team of teachers who don’t just teach lessons - they live out a calling. They plant seeds of knowledge and faith in the hearts of WoW students, and they go above and beyond in quiet, faithful ways that reflect Christ’s love in action. What a blessing they are!

Our Level 5 students truly brought their A-game to our “Long Way from Chicago” inspired Bake Off!

Inspired by the stories and spirit of the book, they mixed creativity into every recipe. From planning to presentation, each student showed pride in their work, and a little friendly competition made it even sweeter.

It was wonderful to see students take something from literature and turn it into such a fun, hands-on experience—full of learning, and some seriously impressive baked goods! 🍰

So proud of these students for stepping out in courage and lifting their voices in WORSHIP today! It’s not always easy to be bold, but they showed what it means to worship with brave hearts. 💛

Future engineers in the making! 🤖🛠️

Our students put their creativity and problem-solving skills to the test by building their own robotic hands. I think our future is in good “hands”! 👏👏👏
