🎒 Kindergarten starts September 2!

Kindergarten scholars start school on the same day as grades 1-12: Wednesday, September 2.

During the first six days, September 2-10, kindergarten will follow a half-day schedule, with scholars released 3.5 hours early. Their first full day of kindergarten is Friday, September 11.

These first days give scholars time to get comfortable in their new school, learn routines and expectations, and build relationships with their teachers and classmates. During the afternoons, each family will have one scheduled WaKIDS Family Connection Meeting with their child's teacher to learn more about their child's transition to school and share information with the teacher.

🍎 Free meals for all FWPS scholars!

FWPS will continue to provide breakfast and lunch at no cost to all scholars. While families no longer need to complete a free and reduced-price meal application, completing the Child Nutrition & Education Benefit (CNEEB) Application may help your family qualify for additional benefits, including fee waivers, scholarships, and reduced internet costs.
