We can't wait to see all our scholar's smiling faces on the first day of school!

🔔 Know your school’s start and end times!

The first day of school for grades K-12 is Wednesday, September 2. Kindergarten scholars will attend half days for the first six days (Sept. 2-10) and be released 3.5 hours early. Their first full day is Friday, September 11.

📢Lost & Found Reminder 🧥

Rainier View Families,

Our Lost & Found is still filled with many unclaimed items, including:
* Sweaters and jackets
* Lunch boxes
* Water bottles
* Hats and other personal belongings

📅 Families may stop by the school office through June 26 to look for any missing items.
❤️ Donation Notice: Any items remaining in Lost & Found after June 26 will be donated to local organizations.

We encourage families to take a few minutes to check for any belongings that may have been left behind before summer break.

Book Up! Book Fair & Ice Cream Social!

Students will have the opportunity to pick out and take home FREE books to build their home libraries! 📖✨

🎉 Event Details: Free books available for enrolled Rainier View students only.
📚 BFK, Kindergarten–2nd Grade students will receive 12 free books
📚 PK and 3rd–5th Grade students will receive 5 free books

Come enjoy books, ice cream, and a wonderful evening with our school community!

Dear Families,
Our favorite event of the year is almost here! 🎉 Our Spring Carnival will be held on June 12, 2026, and we are so excited to bring our school community together for an evening filled with fun, games, and laughter.

As a teacher, I see every day how much our students value these moments of connection outside the classroom. 💛 To keep this event accessible and enjoyable for all families, we are kindly requesting a few donations to help stock our booths and prize stations.

📚𝑹𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒆𝒓 𝑽𝒊𝒆𝒘 𝑻𝒂𝒌𝒆𝒔 𝟏𝒔𝒕 𝑷𝒍𝒂𝒄𝒆 𝒂𝒕 𝑫𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒊𝒄𝒕 𝑩𝒂𝒕𝒕𝒍𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑩𝒐𝒐𝒌𝒔! 🏆

Congratulations to our incredible team, 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑷𝒐𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒔, Karina Stetsiak, Maggie Buzunov, Lea Contreras, and Rowan Siewert, for earning 1st Place at the District Battle of the Books last night!

Our students achieved an amazing perfect score of 37 out of 37 points while competing against 23 elementary school teams from across the district. What an incredible accomplishment!

This year’s competition was especially exciting as three teams finished with perfect scores! The event ran out of questions because the students knew the books so well! 📖✨
