Friends, I come to you this afternoon with very sad news. Our classmate and friend, Anthony “Poochie” Tate, had a heart attack and has passed away. He was a dear friend to so many in our class, and to LC. He always gave back in some form or fashion to Fayetteville and Lincoln County. He and I kept in touch through the years, and one thing stayed true—his love for his hometown, his friends, and his family. Please keep his wife, Francine, and their sons in your prayers. We will post arrangements as soon as they are available. Fly high my friend ❤️💙’87

I encourage all Class of 87 veterans to come. We appreciate you. I’ll be there to show my support. Thank you for your service.

Got together with just a few ladies from the class last night. Just to all let you know ... We had a discussion regarding our 40th reunion next year. Plans are in the works.. I think everyone will like our venue option. Can you believe we are 57-58 years old? Where has the time gone? Hard to believe we've been out of LCHS nearly 40 years... Stay tuned for more......

It breaks my heart to make this post but one of our beloved teachers has passed today . Mr. Joel Hastings died today. I absolutely loved him. He never called me Christy. Always “ Buddah”… Told the best stories.. we’d get him off track in History class with a good story and before you knew it. , it was time for class change. What a great man. God Bless his wife and children. He will be so missed. Rest easy , my friend. Class of 87 loved you .
