Filipino American Organization of Northwest Arkansas (FAONWA) Announces 2026 Scholarship Program

The Filipino American Organization of Northwest Arkansas (FAONWA) is pleased to announce the opening of applications for its 2026 Scholarship Award Program, designed to support outstanding Filipino-American students as they pursue higher education.

Graduating Filipino-American high school seniors who plan to enroll in a college, university, or vocational program for the 2026 academic year are encouraged to apply. Through this scholarship, FAONWA seeks to recognize academic achievement, leadership, community involvement, and a commitment to educational excellence.

Scholarship Eligibility

Applicants must:

* Be of Filipino-American heritage.
* Be a graduating high school senior or a recent high school graduate.
* Plan to pursue post-secondary education at an accredited college, university, or vocational institution.
* Submit a 200–300 word Scholarship Appeal Letter describing:
* Educational goals and career aspirations.
* Academic and extracurricular achievements.
* Community service and leadership experiences.
* Financial need and how the scholarship will assist in achieving educational objectives.

Application Requirement

Interested applicants should submit a 200–300 word Scholarship Appeal Letter along with any supporting documents required by the scholarship committee.
