A sorrowful message from VCA:

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of our own Coach Nick Williams’ passing.

He has been bravely fighting a battle with cancer since he found out the news in June and he has now left his earthly body to go home to be with our Lord and Savior. While we mourn his loss deeply, we take comfort in knowing he is at peace with our Lord and Savior.

Coach Nick has coached boys’ and girls’ golf at VCA for the past five years. Under his leadership, the VCA golf program brought home many conference championships, and the boys' varsity team won the State Championship in the spring of 2025. Beyond his success as a coach, his dedication to mentoring our young people by living his life full of joy and always wearing a smile has left a lasting impact on all of us who had the pleasure of working with him. He loved serving the student athletes of VCA.

We know this news may be hard to process, especially for the athletes he has coached and even more for his own family. Thank you for surrounding the Williams’ family and our school community with your love, prayers, and support as we walk through this together. We will provide funeral arrangements as it becomes available.
