Congratulations to our Spring 2026 graduates!

We are proud to participate in a collaboration with NC Wildlife at Pechmanns Fishing Center to grow select native plant species from seed to ready to plant plugs at our greenhouse. These plant species will help stabilize the soil and more importantly provide an ecosystem for wildlife as well as a pitstop for pollinators. This collaboration also included Cape Fear Botanical Garden and Grays Creek Highschool, together over 2000 plants were grown and planted at Pechmanns Fishing Center! Way to go to everyone involved and showing stewardship of our ecosystem.

FTCC Horticulture thanks everyone that came out to the 2026 Spring Plant Sale Thursday and Friday! Students gained hands on sales and service experience assisting customers and answering their questions which wouldn't have been possible without the support of the Fayetteville community!

The FTCC Viticulture program was in full force at the North Carolina Wine Growers Conference! Our students had the incredible opportunity to connect with industry leading experts and see firsthand how the concepts they study in class take shape in the commercial wine market. Cheers to learning, growing, and future success in North Carolina’s thriving wine industry!
