The competition is ON! 🔥 Our J.W. Seabrook grade levels are going head-to-head in our Little Caesars Fundraiser, but we’re all working toward one BIG goal: creating amazing opportunities for our students!

🚌 We are raising money to help secure a charter bus so our 2nd grade students can experience an unforgettable field trip to the North Carolina Zoo in Asheboro OR the Greensboro Science Center! Additional funds raised will also help support school needs, activities, and learning experiences throughout the year.

This is the LAST WEEK for donations for our Bobcat Queens' community service project! Let's be sure to send them out with a bang!

👑 BOBCATS HELPING BRIGHTEN HOSPITAL DAYS! 👑

We are so proud to announce that our Little Miss Seabrook, Katelyn Royster, and Miss Seabrook, Ava Jacobs, are teaming up to lead a special community service project benefiting the Cape Fear Valley Children’s Department! 🏥💙

Their goal is simple: help bring a little extra joy, comfort, and fun to children who are spending time in the hospital. They are collecting items that children can enjoy during their stay and that can help make a difficult day just a little brighter ✨️

🎨 What are we collecting?
Each grade level has a special donation focus:

🖍️ Kindergarten: Coloring books & crayons
💌 1st Grade: Holiday cards
🧩 2nd Grade: Small activities — activity books, stickers, mazes, etc.
🧸 3rd Grade: Small toys — Barbies, babies, animals, cars, action figures
🧠 4th Grade: Puzzles & brain games
🎲 5th Grade: Board games & card games

📅 Collection Dates: September 1–18
You can support our queens by sending in donations with your child, sharing this project with friends and family, or simply helping spread the word! Every donation—big or small—can make a BIG difference in a child’s day.

If you have students in Pre-K–2 AND 3–5 please choose *ONLY ONE*day to attend. All of your students will be allowed to attend breakfast with you on the day you select, regardless of their grade level.

We are so excited to be a part of this program again this year at JW Seabrook Elementary School! We enjoyed our first veggie pack of the year on Friday... snap peas and cherry tomatoes! 🫛🍅

🍎🥕 We’re excited to announce that 18 CCS elementary schools have been awarded the USDA Fresh Fruit & Vegetable Program Grant for the 2026–2027 school year! Students at participating schools will receive FREE fresh fruit and vegetable snacks every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday during the school day.

Participating Elementary Schools: Ashley, Bill Hefner, Cliffdale, College Lakes, Ed V. Baldwin, Elizabeth M. Cashwell, Glendale Acres, J.W. Seabrook, Long Hill, Loyd E. Auman, Lucile Souders, Mary McArthur, New Century International, Walker-Spivey, Warrenwood, Westarea, William H. Owen, and William T. Brown Elementary Schools.
