“Hi!! My name is Marissa and I currently serve as Xi Omicron’s Vice President of Operations! I am from Fort Worth, Texas, and I am a Communication Sciences and Disorders major. I love this role because I get to give back to the place I get to call home while helping with all of the behind-the-scenes work that keeps our chapter running smoothly. From overseeing chapter properties and merchandise to leading our operations team, this position has been everything I hoped for and more. AOII has given me a place to grow into myself, create lifelong memories, and meet some of the most incredible people. I feel so lucky to serve a chapter that has shaped my college experience in the best way possible.”

“My time in AOII has been nothing short of amazing. Coming into college I didn’t know a single person and was scared I wouldn’t find my people. The second I ran home to AOII those thoughts disappeared. I was greeted with open arms and some of the most genuine girls I have ever met. AOII has given me friends who inspire me to be better everyday and their friendships will last a lifetime. I will miss eating lunch at the house and going to functions with them, but am eternally grateful for the memories I have made from AOII.”
