Our students who have signed up for our kids Café program have been having the best time.
Kids café is a hands on cooking program designed to help children develop a healthy relationship with food while building practical life skills. It functions as an interactive educational experience where kids get "in the kitchen" in a safe, and age-appropriate way.
It is not to late to sign your kiddo up to be apart of this fun experience!

Our Bears classroom learned about Measurement.
Preschoolers are generally introduced to measurement skills through hands-on play and activities that focus on comparison. Measurement is a foundational concept that builds directly into later academic skills. It enhances problem solving and critical thinking. Measurement activites inherently require child to think critical and figure things out. It also helps boosts vocabulary and communication, and develop real world spatial awareness.

Our spotlight teacher of the week is our Jr.K teacher Ms. Jen.
Ms. Jen has been apart of our Cadence Family for a year and a half and she absolutely loves all of her kiddos. This is the kind of teacher you might see in the crowd at your Childs t-ball game, or dance class. She shows up and tries to show her support even outside of here. The kids love her, and the parents love her. Thank you Ms. Jen.
"Hey guys my name is Ms. Jen and I am your Jr. k teacher! I have been with cadence for a year and a half and have loved every second of it. I am a momma to 3 kiddos. I absolutely love coming into my classroom everyday to see my little best friends! They make it all worth it!"

Tummy time is essential for building strength, and adding a book supercharges the process. It encourages head lifting and turning and helps promotes visual tracking.
It also helps build fine motor skills, especially when you use a cloth/sensory book. The baby is encouraged to reach out, grasp, and explore the different textures developing hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
