Fall FTX is a wrap for the Razorback Battalion! 🐗

This year’s FTX included Day/Night Land Navigation, a six mile ruck from the field, a Warrior Skills Round Robin training, and a tactical 3 mile equipment carry with warrior skill assessments that we like to call Operation Gold Star.

We wrapped up this successful weekend with awards and a contracting ceremony for all of our newly contracted cadets.

Minuteman Monday! First Lt. Madelyn Tauai is a 13A, field artillery officer, assigned to the 142nd Field Artillery Brigade in Barling, Ark. She used the Minuteman Scholarship and National Guard Tuition Waiver through ROTC at the University of Arkansas to graduate debt free in 2022 with a bachelor's degree in business administration and finance while building up her resume with skills to help set her apart from her peers.

“Military service has transformed me by giving me the structure, discipline, and opportunities I needed to build a successful future,” she said. “Through the benefits I utilized, I was able to earn my degree while developing leadership skills that continue to shape both my military and civilian career. It has given me confidence, direction, and a strong foundation to continue growing and pursuing my goals.”

Our NSU Cadets hosted the 2026 Norwegian Foot March at Camp Gruber, OK this morning. Great job to the 80 participants who showed up for the grueling 18.6 mile endurance test. Our Cadet in Charge from NSU, Cadet Mensink, spent months of hard work planning this event.

Shoutout to Cadets Relyea and Potyraj who earned 1st and 3rd place respectively. Cadets Trahan and O’Neal earned 1st place in the team event. Well done! We also want to thank our medics for their medical coverage of the Foot March! Good work!
