How can Eve help❓
Eve works with faculty, managers and HR leaders, technology providers, and experts inside and outside the university to bring affordable, high-quality training to Arkansas at scale. If you’re curious about how to work with the university or want to try something new, that’s where I can help get the right people to the right resources.
What do you enjoy most about your role❓
I enjoy the variety and pace of my work - every day is different! We are constantly evolving to ensure that we stay relevant to changing workforce needs. It is a privilege to put my business training to use in service of a mission I really believe in.
What’s one thing about your role that people might not know❓
I personally read every testimonial and course evaluation. We are very invested in the success of our learners, even though they are only with us for a short period of time!
What’s one piece of career advice you’d give to someone looking to accelerate their career❓
Growth rarely happens within your comfort zone. If everything you try succeeds on the first try, you’re not ambitious or innovative enough to achieve your full potential. Take small, measured risked and don’t be afraid to change directions as you learn more.
What’s one skill that you think everyone should develop, no matter their field❓
One of the most important skills is to solicit feedback about where your assumptions are wrong and truly incorporate constructive feedback. Everyone has blind spots, and surrounding myself with smart, creative people is the best way I have found to mitigate the gaps in my own knowledge.
What’s one skill you’re currently learning or excited to learn❓
I am learning more about how to use AI effectively. Models’ capabilities are changing every month, and I am excited to see where it can be a force multiplier for me and my team.
